Orange October

Women's Straight Jean - American Eagle Outfitters, $40 - New Arrivals - 1084382909, $4.80
Womens - Airwalk - Flurry Moc - Payless Shoes, $15 - New Arrivals - Accessories - 1082119346, $33 - All thing Nice - 1077623180, $6.80
Old Navy Womens Bold Floral Gauze Scarves, $15
Women's AE Shawl Collar Waffle Cardigan - American Eagle Outfitters, $30
Women's tees & knits - perfect-fit tees - Perfect-fit long-sleeve..., $25

I love the month of October. When I think of October, I think of fall which leads to me to think of sweaters, scarves, and being warm and cozy. If you noticed, I didn't include a pair of heels in this set. I absolutely love wearing heels. They make me feel so much like a lady. But let's face it, it's easier to run around with flats. So, instead of slipping on a pair of tennis shoes with this set, these shoes just looked so so comfy and they are adorable!
Just looking at this set makes me want to roll around in leaves. lol.
Enjoy! <3

Good News and Bad News

The good news is, I have discovered two masterpieces; beautifully sophisticated, modest, dresses. The bad news is, they are both sold out.

But wait-- I have more good news. There's a waiting list! So, all you have to do is leave ModCloth your e-mail, and they will notify you when restocked.

I love ModCloth.
And I really, really love these dresses.
What do you think?

Runways are Saying Goodbye to the Micro Mini...

...and hello to the Maxi. Designers have gone long for both day and night, turning out demure yet dramatic skirts that skim the upper shins (Marc Jacobs at both his own label and Louis Vuitton), graze the ankles (Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren), or fall gracefully somewhere in between.

These longer length dresses and skirts are commonly known as "Maxis". Maxi is short for maximum length, and I would say maximum comfort. The best part is, you can find them everywhere, from Target and Old Navy to Anthro and Urban Outfitters. I have chosen three of my faves from our beloved Forever 21, keeping it classy and keeping it cheap. Because let's face it, keeping our pennies is a must these days.

Cozy Up For Fall in a Chunky Knit Sweater

Fall is in the air. As the weather cools down, you can warm up in a cozy knit sweater. Designers such as Georgio Armani are showing short or cropped chunky knit cardigans. I have selected a variety of my favorites (for those of us who can't afford Mr. Armani's) ranging from $6.50-$50.00.
For a casual look, you can wear a long cardigan with a pair of leggings and flats. Or, you can dress up a shorter knit, belted at the waist, with a skirt and tights or dress pants.

Like every lady, when I go to church, I LOVE to feel beautiful and of course, modest. And yes, you can be beautiful and modest at the same time.
Now, I know church isn't a place to go to show of what outfit you have on but let's face it, I'm not going to go scruffy.
This dress is so simple and gorgeous. With the help of some accessories, anyone can wear this. Even my grandma. I actually found a cute pair of patent black pumps at Target. So, if you're looking for some, in lieu of the Jessica Simpson ones, go there. You may need to put insoles to prevent damage to your footsies.
Enjoy! <3

Beauty Rules

Beauty Rules

I'm in LOVE with this outfit.
In my opinion, Wedge's are the most comfortable shoes in the WORLD!
You could wear any color cardigan with the rest of this outfit and you would still look great. I just chose this shade of pink because it seemed fitting as fall fastly approaches. Enjoy! <3
